Elderwell Ltd are recruiting part-time/sessional Therapeutic
Recreation Facilitators for community hospitals/nursing homes as
follows:
* Fermoy Community Hospital - 1 day: 9.**Apply on the website**am to

* St Francis Unit Fermoy - 2 mornings **Apply on the

website**.**Apply on the website** (weekly)
* Heather House - Thursdays & Fridays 9.**Apply on the website**am
to 4.**Apply on the website**pm (every second week.)
* Cois Abhainn - **Apply on the website**am to **Apply on the

* Relief Person to cover Annual Leave & Short-Notice Leave
The facilitator is required to lead and deliver recreational activity
sessions with a focus on improving the quality of life for the elderly
living in residential care centres. The facilitator must be committed
to the well-being of older people. This position is a high energy
position and requires a motivated, creative, caring person to deliver
the programme. The facilitator must have awareness and knowledge of
how to practice and deliver sessions safely, specifically in relation
to infection prevention within a professional setting.
The facilitator must be fluent in English (both verbal and written),
have own transport, and be committed to their allocated sessions. All
employment with Elderwell Ltd is subject to Garda Clearance and
Reference Checks. Successful applicants will receive training prior to
working onsite, please note the Induction Training will include the
HSEland.ie online Courses in: Hand Hygiene, PPE, Safeguarding
Vulnerable Adults, Manual Handling, GDPR and Your Health & Safety
Working in Care Settings AND training specific to Elderwell Ltd which
will be online and onsite.
